My Advice to Ex-Corpers

A Big Congratulations to Corpers on their POP. Seeing pictures all over social media brings back memories of my NYSC days.

I will be sharing some tips on how to utilize your being back home and increase your chances of job employment.

1.Job Opportunities: While searching for jobs,minimise Tyour spending. This money will be useful for transportation to various job interviews.

- Get a Professional to re-write your CV: This will increase your chances of getting job interviews.Use a proper email address with your names and not nicknames.

2. Go for Trainings: Apply for Internship trainings.This will increase your knowledge of certain skills and give you an edge in job search. You can get trainings on graphics designs,web development, social media marketing ,digital marketing and so on.

3.Skill Acquisitions: If you have a skill such as tailoring,catering, barbing,carpentry and so on,you can get customers to patronise you.Make use of the Steemit platform.There are blogs you can advertise your products. You can also decide to learn a skill.The economy needs more entrepreneurs.

4.Be open to other options: While waiting for the big jobs,you can take up teaching jobs.If you are musically inclined, you can teach music/musical instruments in schools or as computer inclined, you can teach computer in schools. You can take up home lessons in various subjects.

Also,you can pick an interest in Agriculture. There are various options you can choose from fish farming,crop planting,animal rearing and so on.
