What, if anything, does it mean to “think seriously" about something, as Joe Manchin says he’s “THINKING SERIOUSLY” about becoming an Independent, no longer affiliated with the Democratic Party – a party whose leaders, by the way, both fear him and hate his guts?
For a very long time now, I have been THINKING SERIOUSLY about becoming a multi-millionaire. And, as of today, I can clearly announce that I remain open to that possibility. So, if you have beaucoup bucks just sitting around, feel free to send them my way!
I’m also THINKING SERIOUSLY about running for President, though I have not yet formed an Exploratory Committee, filed any paperwork, or even talked to anyone about this possibility (for fear someone hearing of my interest might jump into the race ahead of me!).
But before I make any major decisions regarding these matters, about which I am THINKING SERIOUSLY, perhaps I should read a book, watch a YouTube video, or take a university-extension course on the subject of THINKING SERIOUSLY, which activity should not be confused with THINKING HYPOTHETICALLY, THINKING THEORETICALLY, THINKING FRIVOLOUSLY, or THINKING FOR DUMMIES.
