Wow!! I think I still do not believe how close I am to returning to Spain !! 4 months here and there are only 15 more days left! How spanish singer Bisbal would say while covering his face with both hands in a gesture of pleasant surprise: "For God's sake. I can't believe it." By the way, remember me to visit the psychologist when I come to Spain and tell him that I mentioned Bisbal in one of my writings, that way. The mission must have affected me a lot ... Yes! No doubt that must be that...
Within 5 days, casually on my birthday's day, we will make delivery of the timely military decoration! I'm opening up on the military medals! Let us hope that it's the first of many and, if possible, that it's not in Afghanistan again because I'm already fed up with so much dust swallowing!
Yesterday I returned from the Moqur's "COP" to Qala-e-Naw base without much news there that I will tell on here, and it caught my attention the village's child marksmanship while we were in the return trip. He threw a stone from far as "Sebastopoulo" and hit the reinforced window that I had in front of me, making it a considerable crack ... What a fright he gave to me, the rebellious boy!
A total of 21 days there that we could title, such as the spanish TV show presented by Adela Úcar, "21 days without hygiene, without mattress, without good food, without heat, without good wine, without good female company and without/with others circumstances".
But the truth is that I am plethoric! Glad to have almost surpassed the mission and that the most dangerous moments have been left behind. I can almost say that there is already a 90% chance that I will arrive one-piece to Spain. But I will not say it too loud... just in case!
The last trip will be by "Hercules" plane to Herat, base where I will spend 3 days until the commercial plane comes and pick us up course to Spain!
Just thinking about it and seeing it so close I'm getting emotional. ¡Uff!
I will write again one day before leaving Afghanistan.
Until then...
