Daily FML #29 - Don't Forget the Child in You.

“Today, we attended my daughter’s dance show. When they shut the lights off, my 2-year-old son started to sing “Happy Birthday”. FML”

I love the innocence of children. Hope darkness always reminds him of lots of happy memories, not fear ones.

Today is a Japanese national holiday; Children's Day. On this day, parents wrap up their children in the carp-shaped flag and hang them on a pole. They are exposed to sunshine for a while to get better health. Looks like the carps swimming in the sky.

When Michele Jackson visited Japan, he was so impressed how Japanese people celebrate in order to wish the healthy growth of children. Then when he went back to the U.S, he just tried to do the same way, but it was really unfortunate that he was totally misunderstood by the media.

attend = 催し物などに参加する
shut the lights off = ライトを消す
