"Guns with high-capacity magazines are 'not commonly used for self-defense, and are therefore not protected by the Second Amendment,' Immergut wrote in her ruling. “The Second Amendment also allows governments to ensure that only law-abiding, responsible citizens keep and bear arms.”

Okay, how much is wrong with this?

As I've said, capacity restrictions hinder the citzen more than any active shooter. Most of us who carry guns for personal protection only carry one or two mags with us. We don't walk around with tactical vests with slots for a dozen mags every day. We don't walk around with a duffle bag full of extra guns and ammo every day. You're not taking bullets away from a bad guy who wants to kill a bunch of people. You're taking bullets away from the person who wants to stop the shooter. And, BTW, the new Springfield Echelon that everybody is talking about comes with a 20 and a 17 round mag in the box, and it's an entirely concealable personal defense weapon.

There's nothing in the fucking bill about ensuring that only law-abiding citizens get guns. What the fuck is she even talking about here?
