Julie Chen Stands By Statement Supporting Her Husband Leslie Moonves On ‘The Talk’

Julie Chen is standing by the statement she released Friday on Twitter in support of her husband, CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves, following a New Yorker exposé in which six women accused him of sexual misconduct.

"Some of you might know about what has been going ahead in my life for as far back as few days," Chen stated, tending to watchers on The Talk. "I have issued the unrivaled articulation I will ever make on this subject on Twitter. Furthermore, I will remain by that announcement today, tomorrow, until the end of time."

In her announcement Friday, Chen expressed "I have known my better half, Leslie Moonves, since the late '90s, and I have been hitched to him for very nearly 14 years. Leslie is a decent man and a cherishing father, committed spouse and motivating corporate pioneer. He has dependably been a kind, not too bad and good person. I completely bolster my significant other and remain behind him and his announcement."

In an announcement because of the charge Moonves told the New Yorker, "I perceive that there were times decades prior when I may have made a few ladies awkward by making progresses. Those were errors, and I lament them monstrously. In any case, I generally comprehended and regarded—and complied with the guideline—that 'no' signifies 'no,' and I have never abused my situation to hurt or frustrate anybody's vocation."
