Having practical effects, such as animatronics, as often as possible was one of the main techniques J.A. Bayona used to get genuine reactions out of the actors in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. We talked to one of the puppeteers who operated Blue's head and got some insights about what it takes to breathe life into these beautiful inanimate creatures.
