The Sitka rose hips in fall are harvested by many people for uses in pies, jams and jellies. If your interested, this link is from the University Of Alaska Fairbanks, s PDF file with a few recipes. I have tried pies, and jellies from the Sitka rose buds and they were pretty tasty.

I have been doing a lot of posting for other content my weekly Newbieresteemday on Sundays, The IFC Discord Chat Room Marketplace, and I have Started a small series on thehive Discord Chat room. The IFC game had kept me pretty busy, and then I got into Steemmonsters, and I have not really done a post that was a real #justbecause post, in quite some time.
Since I made a post on Sunday for NRD, and Monday for thehive, and plan on another thehive post for wednesday, then thursday I have my weekly The Marketplace flyer to do, I thought I would try to do a Tuesday post for myself. Well I almost made it, right now as I type it is 11:57 PM Alaska time, so looks like I missed tuesday, but the intent was there.

Love the circles! The dandy came out so cool round!
And those roses are so awesome, the fuzzy thing

Thank you, I made all the pictures pretty small, (maybe to small), but they still show nice. I wanted to do around of the Sitka rose, but could not get the whole flower in the picture, the top part would have been flat and not roundish, (too close to the top of the picture).

There is a lot of cold, some years a lot of ice, but always a lot of cold, some years a lot of snow. We did have a little bit this year, it finally all melted where I am in Alaska, and it finally got save enough last week to put the plants out overnight. Things do grow fast here though in the summer. We will generally get 3 or 4 days in the 70's but not a whole lot of those days.
