Isn't he, kinda, derivative of a lot of things y'all hate?
- He's a political royalty type and a legacy guy, being the son of a former PM
- He has no term limits and recently capitalized off a spontaneous midterm election (his third)
- He only won the popular vote in two of his three elections (I know the Canadian system doesn't work quite like that, but still)
- He's pretty authoritarian and didn't hesitate to declare an Emergency Act for only the fourth time in Canadian history
- And, though he certainly got backlash, American Dems seem uncharacteristically willing to forgive and forget the whole 'blackface' thing in Trudeau's case
