A new study reports that the Kepler Space Telescope has found 95 more exoplanets during it's extended mission known as K2. Plus, there are approximately 2,000 candidates awaiting follow-up observations to confirm if they are also alien worlds. Kepler spots these exoplanets by searching for distinctive dimming from any of about 150,000 stars as orbiting planets pass in front of them.
