The law requires that women’s locker rooms will have naked people who don’t have breasts and have apparently male genitalia and all the other secondary sex characteristics of male presentation, because those people were recorded as female on their birth certificate.
This makes the constituents of this legislation more comfortable than how it tends to work in practice without the new law?
And given the comments I’ve seen, they aren’t afraid these trans men in women’s spaces won’t create an impossible to police, de facto open door policy for anyone who looks like a man, including men assigned male gender at birth, to use a women’s facility?
