Unfortunately karma is really just cause and effect. That's it.

There is no permanent entity that is reborn. There is no soul.

Imagine you have no memories, no senses. From where does your identity spring? There is none. Watch the movie Ex Machina - great movie and quite insightful. What we are is a "sense of individuality". Take away what supports that sense of individuality and nothing is left. Just perpetual change.

"God" is free since no limits. All experiences. Everything we are aware of has a beginning and an end. Freedom is not a "sense", it is not something "we" can have. Freedom from and freedom to - imply duality and hence limits.

The Absolute - "God" has no other. "God" is unknowable by a mind, as a mind, thoughts have causes and "God" does not.
