Katie Britt ably demonstrated the nihilistic emptiness of partisan politics.

She sneered at Joe Biden for not having pushed a shopping cart or pumped gas recently, while her party offers the alternative of a man who, if he's ever pushed a shopping cart has only done so rarely, and who quite possibly has never pumped gas in his life.

She lambasted Biden for abandoning America's allies, while her party offers us a man who has advocated destroying our most important organization of allies and openly encouraged Russia to do "whatever the hell they want to" to our allies.

She condemned Putin's "brutal aggression," while her party's candidate openly admires Putin and has suggested he'd cut off aid to Ukraine.

The unintended icing on the cake is when she says, "You can't make this stuff up."

You're not supposed to think about what she said. You're supposed to just feel a connection and not question anything.

It's all about emotional identity.

Who cares if we propose the same things we condemn the other party for doing. You know in your heart, we are the good ones.
