Inspect what your child watches on television

That idiot box is a major source of entertainment and it has been so for generations, right?. We adults like children spend most of our time watching anything and everything on TV. Television, along with being a medium to kill time has also been an inspiration to many. Hundreds and thousands of young minds have been inspired with what they watch on TV and end up choosing acting as their career.

Watching TV is perfectly okay until it is done under adult supervision. The channels these days has shows that are not created to cater to young India. Contents like, death, sex, theft, alcohol and cigarettes use etc are not meant for the children, but unformatted many kids end up seeing what is not meant for them because it is just available on TV.

Young minds get influenced by what they watch or hear. This young 7 year old girl in India did what she saw on TV and she ended up loosing her life. The girl like any other day was imitating her favourite character from a show that was being aired daily without knowing the technicalities of how these production houses shoot these scenes. The girl, like the lead actress in the show, tied her mother's duppatta around her neck and hung herself from the ceiling when there was no one at home.

Please monitor your child's TV time and also please explain to them the technicalities with which the production houses make every scene look like a real one.
