AI and hallucinating?

Naomi Klein largely lost me when she commenced with her annoying beating of the drum on anthropomorphic climate change without articulating the scope of the financial scam that it is sure to pose a huge economic and surveillance burden it upon those who can afford it least.

That said, I think her take in this article on AI is pretty much on the money. We are in fact, being used by Tech CEOs to advanced business plans that mine to a frightening extent our content, our images, our writings, and the creative human substrate of our very existences.

Stopping AI at this point is a rather insane hope, because like all technologies, it has no moral compass and is focused on its own survival. Technology is task-driven and object-oriented, wherein goals are determined by the code which sustains its many purposes, but which are naturally mostly impossible for any layperson to comprehend.
