We had a little failure while dyeing silk cocoons. I had planned to dye them last week and had them soaking. Well, I wasn't able to do it last week, so I saved it for this week. They fermented. Ew.
But we still dyed them.
I found out from my husband this morning that squirrels have tried burying my cocoons... So... that's a thing.
We'll see how they turn out after we rinse them off and dry them. :-)

I look forward to hearing how tgey turned out! Did not know they could ferment... guess that will really bind the color?
