This was my very first needlework.
When I started knitting, when I was learning how to use my needle to knit. This was the very first work I put up after everything I learnt as a child
I tried to applied what I learnt by knitting an "head tie"
I didn't know exactly which colour to use
And being a small child then, I thought the only way to beautify my head tie and make it attractive was to use tons of colourful wool.
So I knitted the head tie with different kinds of colour per the lines of each one I knitted.
In the head tie, you can testify I used to many colours; the likes of brown, green, peach, pink, yellow, red, lemon, orange, blue, white and creamy or milky colour.
If one wants to total all the colours, it will amount to eleven (11) colours.
In a single piece of work, 11 colours was just too much but being I was still a child and thinking like one. I had no other better thoughts as to making my work beautiful
So all I could do then was colour riot it to my desired taste.😂😂
Materials Used
- Wool (11 colours precisely)
- Knitting Needle
- Sewing Pin
- Thread
- Beads (optional)
Procedures
I would have really show step by step procedures as to how I made this but since it was a really long time ago and as a child then I didn't have any gadget (phone)
I would rather say, this is my childhood work. As such no step by step shots was taken.
But I still hope my childhood needlework worth a good trial?
Childhood Needlework.!

What a lovely work and I especially love the bright color combo which transition into the muted brown hues. In my eyes there can never be too much color 😍. And I am with @nikv we need model photos 🌈🙏
Thank you for sharing your pattern.
