Euphemia II certainly fits the bill. She is pictured here tied up at the Burrard Yacht Club's outstation in Garden Bay. I have crossed paths with her many times over the years.
Euphemia II was built in Seattle in 1928 by Schertzer Bros. Her length is 50' with a beam of 11' and she draws 4'3". Her original Sterling gas engine has been replaced with a 6 cylinder Volvo Turbo Diesel allowing her to cruise comfortably at 9.5 knots.
Thanks to her owner/caretakers for maintaining this beautiful example of craftsmanship from a bygone era. "Long may you run".
Wow what a classic, and so well maintained - it's owner could easily be making a living renting it as a movie prop.

She's one of a number of well maintained classics here on the coast. The annual Victoria Wooden Boat Show puts a many of them on display each year.

She is a beauty.
Long and narrow...very easily driven, and much more efficient than most new yatchs in that size.
The plum bow gives her max waterline to overall length.

She was built for Predicted Log and apparently did very well.
