Selat Malaka - Pemandangan Indah yang dapat dinikmati dari atas Benteng Inong Balee
*Inong Balee fortress located at Lamreh-Aceh, not too far from Kuta Lubok fortress (I've write about it before). Inong Balee fortress located up in a hill, about 100 metres from the sea level. As I used to write in this article : https://steemit.com/feminism/@hananan/keumalahayati-the-first-woman-admiral-in-the-world-2017822t221115870z , Inong Balee fortress used to be the headquarters of Keumalahayati troops which is known as Inong Balee troop (widower fleet), Keumalahayati is a an admiral who used to lead about 2000 troops. (For more detail about this troops click the link) There is nothing much left from this fortress only a wall for about 20 metres and on this wall there are four holes used to monitor the Malacca Strait.*
Benteng *Inong Balee* (Janda) terletak di desa Lamreh, Aceh Besar, letaknya tak jauh dari Benteng Kuta Lubok. Benteng ini terletak pada sekitar 100 meter di atas permukaan laut. Dahulu benteng ini digunakan oleh pasukan yang dipimpin oleh laksamana Malahayati. Seperti halnya benteng Kuta Lubok, tidak banyak yang tersisa dari benteng Inong Bale, saat ini yang dapat kita lihat hanyalah dinding sepanjang 20 meter dan 4 lubang yang dulu digunakan untuk memantau Selat Malaka.

Jalan menuju benteng masih belum dapat dijangkau oleh kendaraan, jadi kita harus berjalan kaki sekitar 200 meter, disepanjang perjalanan kita akan disungguhi pemandangan yang luar biasa Indah (cocoklah buat selfie) 😆)

)*For history lovers, around your way down to the beach and all around the sea shore you can find artefacts, you are allowed to do research or taking its photographs, but do not ever take it home, because it brokes Indonesian Cultural Heritage law. For archaeologists these artefacts will help them to learn more about what was going on in the past*
Untuk kamu para pecinta sejarah, disepanjang perjalanan menuruni bukit, kita akan menemukan banyak artefacts yang berupa pecahan2 porselin. tapi ingat, jangan pernah membawanya pulang, karena mengambil atau memindahkan benda2 dari tempat yang dianggap situs cagar budaya merupakan pelanggaran undang2 cagar budaya.
