According to Mashbell, the new products carried the characters "Kai Jae O", the same characters as the name of Kim Jong-un, and the company did not discover the similarity of characters only after the launch of products of shampoo, toiletries and soap.
"I did not discover the similarity of the characters until after we licensed the product," said Alan Job, director of personal care products at the company.
The new products were to be published in the Chinese market, after 6 months of development.
Unilever is one of the largest personal care and detergent companies in the world, bringing the company's revenues last year to $ 60 billion.
