Red Velvet's Irene's Reason Behind Liking Her Favorite Color Purple is a True Scenario

Irene revealed the story on how she came to like the color purple.

Red Velvet's Irene held a early birthday party with lucky fans on March 25th. Through the hearty conversation and time they spent together, Irene was being asked questions that fans have always been curious. One of them was about her favorite color purple.

She shared,

"I am normally not the like to make friend or am I someone with a extrovert personality. However, there was a girl who transferred to the class next to mine when I was in second year of high school. That was something good about her. I didn't talk to her even once. I just really like her. That's why, I usually don't like to lend my gym clothes but I purposely wanted to lend it to her...There are others who I have been in the same class with for 2 years too, why am I purposely lending it to someone new. It so happens that we got into the same class together. She is still a precious friend of mine now. Her favorite color is purple. I asked her, 'What color do you like?' and she said, 'Purple.' From then on, purple became my favorite color, it's a special...Color."
