Middle Ages, where Islam lived better than Europe

The most curious thing about Korean Protestants like me looking at the history of European Christianity is that medieval Islamic civilization surpassed Europe.

In the fifth century, the Germanic masses collapsed, and the Islamic empire invaded Europe.

Beginning with the Islamic invasion, Europe was invaded by the Slavs, Vikings, Turkeys and Mongolias, resulting in massacre, destruction, looting, arson and rape.

Medieval dark ages are often referred to as the days of religious fanaticism, ignorance, barbarism, and war.

However, Roman Catholics in Western Europe and Greek Orthodox in East Rome succeed in making Europe a Christian civilization through zealous mission.

Europe, through the Middle Ages, developed into a Christian civilization, enjoyed development and prosperity to this day, and ruled the New World.

However, the peculiarity was that the greatest and best advanced of the Middle Ages was Islamic civilization.

The Islamic empire invaded Iran, Afghanistan, Central Asia, India, Southeast Asia and even China, which Rome had not conquered.

In short, Islam had built a world empire that surpassed Rome.  Islamic prosperity originated from Islamic religious fanaticism and religious wars.

Islamic Jihad is based on the Koran's belief that if you conquer pagans you will go to heaven.

Islam developed into the world's largest civilization because of the belief that martyred Islam goes to heaven in a war against pagans. Europe saw the success of Islam and caused the Crusades.

With the rise of the Crusaders in the 12th century, the religious war between Christianity and Islam broke out for 1,000 years, and with the victory of Christianity, Western civilization is now the best.

In the eyes of Korean Christians like me, Islam overwhelmed Europe in population, territory, resources, geography, history and culture. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Moses were all born in the present Islamic state.

In a word, Christianity in Europe was created by Islamic ancestors, not Europeans. Islam is interesting in its opposition to Christianity.

Christianity was born in the present Islamic state, which flourishes in Europe and is hostile to Muslims.

This historical relationship between Christianity and Islam is a mystery to me.

The Italian Renaissance is actually a copy of the Islamic Renaissance.

It is interesting to note that the two most hostile religions in the world are actually very similar monotheism.

The two religions were hostile but learned and emulated each other's strengths.

In the Middle Ages, Islam prevailed, but in modern times Europe led, and now Islam fell to the most backward area.

Obviously, Islam was ahead of Europe in the early days, but now it has fallen enough to be regarded as a backward country by Koreans like me.

Why islam, now advanced over Europe in the Middle Ages, now becoming a backward civilization?

The Catholic Church isn't Christian. Neither is the Orthodox Church. We're saved by faith alone in Christ alone guided by the Bible alone. We're not saved by infant baptism, good works, and obedience to church rules. Mary is not our mother. She's not the mother of God or queen of the apostles. She was just a righteous woman like many others that are mentioned in the New Testament. We shouldn't pray to Mary or to statues or to icons.

I see. but, it is true that Roman Catholicism made medieval Europe a Christian civilization. Protestantism was separated from Roman Catholicism after the Reformation.
