"네이버 중고나라 : GPU 판매글에 팝콘을 튀기기 시작!!!"





위 그림은 유명한 '팝콘짤'로써 네이버카페 등에서 분쟁이 일어날시에 댓글에 자주 달리는 짤(그림이미지)입니다.

비트코인 가격이 곤두박질치면서 채굴 위주의 이더리움까지도 폭락을 거듭하자, 1060 3gb, 6gb 등의 GPU(그래픽카드)가 중고로 대량으로 쏟아져 나오고 있습니다.

네이버 중고나라의 정상적인 GPU 판매글에 분쟁시 나오는 이러한 '팝콘짤'이 나오는 이유는 GPU 판매자가 "채굴에 사용하지 않았습니다."라는 내용으로 판매글이 올라오고 있기 때문입니다.

최근의 구매된 대부분의 중고 GPU는 최소 한달이상 채굴에 사용되어져 있었다고 보는것이 합리적이며, 판매자가 GPU의 판매가격이 낮아질것을 우려해 많은 판매글이 채굴 사실을 속인채 올라오고 있습니다.

특히나, 판매글 중 "GTX 1060 6gb"는 nvidia의 제품중에선 채굴용으로 유독 인기있는 제품이며, 채굴로 사용한게 틀림없는데도 불구하고 이러한 사실을 숨긴채 글이 등록되어져 있는 경우가 많습니다.

실제로도, 2013년말에 있었던 비트코인 채굴 광풍이후 2014년초에 비트코인의 가격이 급락하자, 엄청난 양의 채굴용 GPU가 중고시장에 나오기도 했으며, 이러한 채굴했던 GPU가 3년이 지난 지금도 용산쪽에 중고로 거래되는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

또한, 채굴용으로 사용되어진 GPU는 해당 제조사에서 채굴 사용을 바로 알 수 있으며, 채굴 사용 제품의 AS는 보통 3년의 기간 대신에 "1년으로 짧아진 제품 AS"를 받는 불이익이 생기는 것으로 알고 있습니다.

가급적 현상황에서는 그래픽카드를 중고로 구입하지 않는것이 현명하며, 만약 꼭 구매할시에는 새제품을 구매해야되며 "중고로 구매할시에 각별한 주의가 필요하다고 생각됩니다."

또한, 이러한 GPU 대량의 중고 판매 현상은 비단 국내뿐이 아니며, 아마존 이베이에서도 비슷한 상황이 연출되고 있으며, 관련 기사가 coindesk에 오늘 일자로 나왔습니다.

                                    24시간 총 성능의 90%정도를 한달이상 사용하기때문에 그 GPU는 수명이 많이 닳아있는 상태라고 봐도 무방할거 같습니다. ^^ 댓글, 업보팅 감사합니다. kimhyeran님 포스팅도 늘 잘보고 있습니다.

                                      nvidia 는 amd계열과 달리 카드 수명에 영향을 주는 램 조작을 할 수 없어서 가격이 저렴하면 사도 되긴 합니다. amd는 사시면 안되는게 맞습니다.
