쿠팡플레이에 '바비'가 올라와서 봤습니다. 바비 인형을 가져본 적이 없지만 장남감의 세계, 장난감에 담긴 가치관 등을 이해하기 어렵진 않았습니다. 바비월드에서 켄은 바비의 트로피와 같은 존재로 나옵니다. 이러한 모습이 성역할에서 거울효과를 만들어낼 수 있는 장치로 보였습니다.
마지막으로가면서 난해한 부분들이 대화 씬들로 연출되는데 꽤 많은 생각을 하게 만들었습니다.
여담으로 초기 캐스팅 논의에서 '갤 가돗'이 있었다고해요. 그녀가 했어도 꽤나 괜찮았을 것 같다는 생각입니다만 DC의 '원더우먼'의 이미지가 오버랩이 될 듯하네요.
