My photo story was originally featured on Korea.net blog in 2011 during the time I was appointed as an Honorary Reporter for Korea.net. However, because this blog no longer exists, I decide to share my photo story on Steemit for those who have not seen it yet. I hope you like it.
Kimchi (김치) is a traditional Korean side dish made from salted and fermented vegetables. There are over one hundred different varieties of Kimchi and the most common ones are napa cabbage and Korean radishes. Traditionally, Kimchi was stored in jars and underground to keep cool and unfrozen during the winter but nowadays, Kimchi refrigerators are more commonly used.
