Two members of the Japanese girl group AKB48 were taken to hospital
after being attacked by a man wielding a saw at one of the
band's meet-the-fans events, police said on Monday.

Rina Kawaei, 19, and Anna Iriyama, 18, both broke bones in their right hands
and received cuts on their arms and heads caused by the 50cm (20in) saw
at the event in Iwate in northern Japan.

AKB48 악수회 피습사건

2014년 5월 25일 오후 5시 경, 이와테 현 타키자와 시 산업문화센터
'아피오'에서 열린 AKB48 악수회에서 정체 불명의 괴한에게
흉기로 찔리는 피습을 당했다. 기사링크 그 괴한은 카와에이 리나뿐 아니라
이리야마 안나, 그리고 악수회 진행중인 남성 스태프 1명을
더 찔렀고 현장에서 즉시 체포되었다. 목격자의 증언에 따르면
카와에이에게는 꽤 심한 출혈이 발생했고 병원으로 긴급 후송되었다고 한다.
다행히도 생명에는 지장이 없다고 한다. 인터넷에서는
카와에이의 머리에 상당한 출혈이 있었다는 목격담이 돌았지만
소속사인 AKS는 부상부위를 손이라고 공식적으로 발표했다.
경찰 측에서는 카와에이의 부상부위를 손과 머리로 발표했다.
퇴원하고 활동에 복귀한 이후에도 카와에이의 오른손에는
엄지에서 손목까지 이어지는 긴 흉터가 남아있다.
그녀는 당시의 트라우마로 인해 이후 악수회 참가를 전혀 하지 못하고
있는데, 일부 악질적인 안티들이 이를 보고 선발멤버라고 배가 불렀다,
악수회도 안할거면 졸업이나 해버려라라며
정신나간 공격을 하여 보는 이들의 어이를 상실케 하고 있다.

결국 2015년 3월 26일 진행된 단독 봄 콘서트 'ジキソー 未だ修行中'에서
AKB48을 졸업하는 것이 발표되었다.
사건 이후 악수회를 전혀 참석하지 못했고 앞으로도 나갈 수 없을
것이기 때문이라고 하며, 졸업 후에는 연기자로서 처음부터 시작하고 싶다고 한다.
