The seeds of this tree, which is known as Sal tree in Sri Lanka, is a good and delicious food in Brazil..The flowers of this type of tree planted near temples and temples in this country are considered sacred..but the people of this country do not eat its seeds..

Brazil nut tree (Bertholletia excelsa)
Reaching heights of up to 160 feet, Brazil nut trees are giants of the Amazon rainforest. This tree is very sensitive as it can only get fruits from trees in forests.
The fruit of this tree has a hard outer covering and is very famous for its fruits. This cover is so tight that only "Agouti" rats can open it. As a result, the tree depends on rodents to disperse its seed.
Delicious Brazil nuts are one of my favorite nut treats. I love eating these and when I open a can of beer, I usually aim for the seeds first.
