The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 53-point-14 points, or one-point-99 percent, on Wednesday, closing the day at two-thousand-729-point-68.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 38-point-23 points, or four-point-55 percent, to close at 878-point-15.
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened two-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-197-point-six won.
