Lakewood Center Skateboard World t-shirt and skateboarding in the '70s.

I grew up skateboarding in the '70s, when skateboarding was NOT popular at all.

People looked down on skateboarding as "playing with some kid's toy", not as the amazing flow sport that it is.

Jocks and jock-attitude kids would make fun of skaters and would even try to beat them up, with little success.

It was fun times! LOL!

But today, at 57, I am still skateboarding and loving it.

One of the first places created just for skateboarding was Lakewood Center Skateboard World, a skatepark in Lakewood, California.

It had amazing pools that were just like the real pools we skated, but designed for skaters.

The Lakewood Center Skateboard World t-shirt https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08WQ3MWBN logo is VERY '70s and looks kinda cool to the eye today, in 2021. You can find it on Amazon.

Skateboarding has been very good to me over the last 40+ years and I will literally be skating til I die! LOL!
