Cape Town is suffering one of its worst droughts ever. Households are restricted to using no more than 6 000 litres of water per month or face heavy penalties including having the water cut off. However, every cloud has a "gold" lining and the past 36 hours have seen 15 ml of clean, fresh rainwater descend on the city. May this be the start of a very wet winter season for us.....so we can again welcome visitors to share our beautiful environs.
