Probably Ireland's most distinctive mountain, Benbulben towers over the coast of Co. Sligo. It's a place that I'd long wanted to photograph, but the proper conditions had always eluded me. On this evening, the setting sun threw a wonderful golden light over its slopes.
The low light and long shadows created by the sunlight reveal the tiny white dots of sheep grazing on the mountain.
In the background, you can see Benwiskin, another beautiful and distinctive mountain in this range.
