Photographing from Hag's Head, Co. Clare, for the first time, I discovered this slot canyon at exactly the right moment. The moon was just rising through the slot—a circumstance I couldn't have planned better.
The access to this vantage point is over private land, which was opened up recently by the owner following the launch of the Wild Atlantic Way route along Ireland's west coast.
What I especially like about this picture is that it is the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most visited locations, but photographed in a way that few people will have seen so far.
