I DARE NOT - Turn off my laptop, this thing is so expensive and I can't afford to replace it.

Last time this happened I turned off my laptop immediately. BAT MOVE!! That laptop never turned on again.

Now I don't know what to do! What can I do to save my machine? without turning i off?
