The next Laura Lemons tribute art contest starts soon.

On the 7th of September, 2017; @lauralemons left the Earth. Her death caused a flood of tributes, posts, and mourning all over this place.

The community, and minnows that she supported, in particular; myself; remain grateful.

Everyone reacted in different ways. @alexbeyman broke the news to the community. His post got almost 5,000 views, and over 400 responses. Others wrote tributes about their interactions with Laura. Everyone deals with death in their own way.

Laura was a prolific creator; and encouraged people to express themselves, regardless of medium. I may not have stuck around on my "second-go" on Steem if it were not for her. She did a great deal around these parts. She haunts various parts of the Internet, including my Steam profile.

I decided to run an art contest in her honour.

3 months ago, @kaylinart won the grand prize - 10 STEEM, and a 50 STEEM Power delegation, that was to last three months. Those three months are today behind us.

Again, I'm sorry to bring this topic back to the fore, and rile up any new pangs of pain for those that miss her. You never stop mourning.

I'm keeping the delegation in place for @kaylinart for a little bit longer. That 50SP will be undelegated when I have an idea for the next round of the contest; which I'll be thinking of in the coming weeks.

Again, all SP generated by this post, and others on the topic will go into the delegation pool; my way of ensuring that we have continued, good quality content, created on Steem.

Please, anyone; feel free to contribute ideas for the new round of the contest. Last time, I ran an art gauntlet; with a different theme each month,, knocking out artists until there was a "last person standing" round.
