I'm going to be negative and say "No." I know I never did. It feels like you're punished at each turn for simply pointing out the obvious while you're making it known you're attempting to comply.
How is it causing trouble to ask for specifics?
During one mediation session I had, I had to reign in the mediator. He was a retired judge and just "flying" through the process. I had to tell him to "hold on there" and tell him why I needed more information. He then told me that it would look like I was causing trouble...
That's when I told him, "No. As a legally binding party to this contract, it's required that things be absolutely clear in order to have a meeting of the minds. We're into over five digits now for legal fees and I'm PAYING you to listen to me. Therefore, it is absolutely my right and I INSIST on this being VERY VERY clear. Please answer my question..."
