Sometimes it's just not there. You stare at the screen and nothing comes. You're not feeling it. On those days you might actually dare to write a short post that does nothing but count as a mark on the board, a check in a box that says "I made my commitment, damnit, now leave me alone". I don't mean that to sound as ornery as it does. Anyway.
Today is one of those days.

I think that's how it is for much of life, unfortunately. I know there are some days when I show up to work, and a co-worker will ask me how I'm doing, and all I can say is, "Well, I'm here." Some days, just checking off that box in fulfilling a commitment is 90% of the battle, so kudos on doing that! :)
