When I read the ideas of @pennsif; Regarding the leaders...I thought it was something big! And it really is that STEEM must be promoted, it has the power to change lives (and I affirm it with ownership).

- Why would you like to become a Steem Leader?

Here is a little anecdote that helps me explain the reason:

When I finished my university studies, I could not find a stable job. I was just one more number in unemployment statistics. This fact made me sad and besides that I plunged every day that passed in the shortcomings, and insomnia. And for no one is a secret, that Venezuela (country where I live) is immersed in a bad economy that is filled every day with inflation, the salaries we earn here do not even serve to feed properly a week.

And one of those days, @raulmz tells me: there is a platform where people write and upload content, so they generate income. He meant STEEM, exactly Steemit.

I honestly did not understand well and thought: Someone pay me to write? Nahh .. A lot of fantasy. Here we are used to being considered work only, when you leave home daily and wear a business uniform.

However, after he insisted so much ... I decided to take a leap into the unknown: I registered and started (after waiting a week, of course) with my life here on the net. From there, I have not stopped. Steem, with its different platforms anchored, have been synonymous with adventure and overcoming. I left those unemployment statistics, to get into the statistics of: freelancers. And thanks to my work here on the net, my family and I have had economic stability and desire to dream of a better future.

That's why I would like to be a Steem leader, to report that just as STEEM changed my life, it can also change thousands of others. Of course, with constant work and dedication, only this way things are achieved. STEEM is a great ecosystem where many DApps come to life, and here the most interesting thing is that it directly connects creators with content consumers. Therefore, consider it an excellent working tool, transparent and without intermediaries: pure independence.!

Proactive.

- A brief summary of his 'Steem career' to date: when he started, what he has achieved on the platform, in which projects and communities he has participated

My Steem career started in March of 2018. And I have focused my work on Steemhunt, only from there I have 440 publications (numbers at the time of making this post). At the beginning, I only published for the platform as a user, later I was selected as Influencer. After a few months I was elected as Moderator, a role I am currently fulfilling. It can be read as very short, but it has been a year and a half of so many writings...!

- An example of a promotional activity that you would like to carry out in your local area to recruit people for Steem and what resources you would need.

An activity that I would like is:

A forum, where with audiovisual media you can teach what is STEEM? and its basic operation. Main DApps built on the network. And how to start this walk and not die trying.

Resources:

Advertising material to announce the activity in advance: flyers and mention in the main local radios.
A space where it would run, which in turn has enough chairs and a couple of tables decorated with allusive materials and specific information on the main DApps built on the network.
Video Beam rental, for the correct development of the activity through slides.
Information leaflets for attendees.
Small snack.
