People are just using blockchain for its intended purposes, to resist censorship by centralized parties. No one is "saving" anyone, other than offering an alternative to Youtube. No one is forced to use Threespeak, I haven't, but I see value in it. It's not healthy to rely on Youtube so much on long term.
