The sweet viburnum tree, whose scientific name is viburnum odoratissimum, is a shrub or small tree in the family adoxaceae.
This tree is native to China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Himalayan region of India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
It reaches a height of 9 meters and has glossy oval leaves up to 20 cm long.
In spring, it produces pyramid-shaped clusters of fragrant white flowers, followed by red berries that ripen and turn black.
