Bamboo leaf oak, botanically named quercus myrsinifolia, is an Asian species of subgenus ring-cupped oak of the fagaceae family.

It has several names, including Chinese evergreen oak, Chinese ring-cupped oak, and is an evergreen oak growing to 20 meters .

The leaves are serrated, with size 60 to 110 × 18 to 40 mm, and petiole length 10 to 25 mm.
