Woodland elaeocarpus, whose scientific name is elaeocarpus sylvestris, is a species of tree in the genus elaeocarpus that can reach a height of 15 meters.
The tree is found in evergreen forests at altitudes between 300 and 2000 meters.
Elaeocarpus forest grows naturally in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The leaves are obblanceolate and glossy green.
