Broad-leaf privet, whose scientific name is ligustrum lucidum, is a species of flowering plant in the olive family oleaceae.
Also called Chinese privet, glossy privet, tree privet or wax-leaf privet, it is native to southern China.
The broad-leaf privet is a tall evergreen tree that can grow up to 10 meters tall.
The leaves are glossy dark green and grow in pairs.
The tree is often used as an ornamental tree, sometimes in various forms.
