Elliott's blueberry with the scientific name vaccinium elliottii is a deciduous shrub belonging to the blueberry group.
It is about 2-4 m tall and has small, ovate leaves 15-30 mm long with finely serrated edges.
This plant is native to the southeastern and south-central United States.
There are two variants of this species, one with shiny black-blue fruits and the other with whitish wax blooms on the fruits and a sweeter taste.
