The flamingo flower, whose scientific name is anthurium andreanum, is a species of flowering plant in the araceae family.

Other names include tailflower, painter's palette, oilcloth flower, and laceleaf, and native to Colombia and Ecuador.

It is a short erect plant with intact cardioid or heart-shaped leaves, generally reflexed, with a heart-shaped base, apex or acuminate.

Flamingo flowers are often used as ornamental plants with their characteristic brightly colored spathe leaves and prominent spadix flowers.
