The jade plant, scientific name crassula ovata, is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers native to KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa and Mozambique.
It is also known as lucky plant, money plant or money tree, and is widely used throughout the world as an ornamental plant.
The leaves are a rich jade green or yellow-green color, arranged oppositely, spreading upward, with short stems about 5 mm in diameter.
