Japanese cinnamon, scientific name cinnamomum pedunculatum, is an evergreen tree of the genus cinnamomum.
This tree is of small or medium size, which can reach 15 m in height.
It grows naturally in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and eastern China.
In China, this tree is under the national protection of second-rate.
