Limber pine, with the scientific name of pinus flexilis, is a species of pine tree in the pinaceae family.
Also called Rocky Mountain white pine, it grows in the mountainous regions of the western United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Under the right conditions, the tree can grow up to 20 meters tall, but in open areas it only reaches 5 to 10 meters.
The needles are dark green with a bluish tinge and are about 8 cm long.
