The money plant, scientific name crassula ovata, is a succulent plant with small pink or white flowers native to KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces of South Africa and Mozambique.

Also known as jade plant, lucky plant, or money tree, it is often used around the world as a houseplant.

This plant has smooth, shiny, thick leaves that grow in pairs along the branches.

The leaves are a rich jade green color, but some appear yellow-green.
