Netleaf hackberry, whose scientific name is celtis reticulata, is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree.
Also known by the names western hackberry, Douglas hackberry, netleaf sugar hackberry, palo blanco, and acibuche, it is native to western North America.
The tree typically grows to a small tree 6 to 9 meters tall with a trunk 15 to 35 centimeters thick.
Leaves are lanceolate to ovate, leathery, with serrated edges and a blunt, heart-shaped base.
