Plantain Lily (Hosta Pulchella)

Plantain lily with scientific name hosta pulchella, of the asparagaceae family, is native to Japan.

The leaves are rubbery, thick and glossy green.

In late spring, spikes of purple and white striped flowers appear on attractive broad clumps.
